New hair style and toys!

12 dr visit

Yesterday, Lexie had her 12 mo wellness dr's visit. 3 more shots. Ouch. She's doing great. Very healthy, and the dr even said she has a lot of personality. She now weighs 22lb 13.3oz and is 28.5in long. It's amazing how much she can grow in 1 year!
Today she had to have blood drawn. There were some problems with that because her vein kept moving. Poor baby is screaming her head off and they had to stick her two times in one arm and once in the other arm to draw her blood. :( As soon as they were done she calmed down quickly cuddling up to me. I hope she doesn't have to have any more blood drawn for a long time.
She is such a happy baby. She's is eating and sleeping well. Her hair is getting long and filling in. She loves her books and babbles a lot. We haven't been able to pick out any words that she's saying yet, but that'll come soon. She's building her balance and confidence walking across the room.

She wasn't too sure about the icing at first. She had this disgusted look on her face as she was pulling it off and putting it to the side. Then when I gave a little to her, she quickly realized how good it was and couldn't eat it fast enough.
