This video was taken a couple weeks ago. She's a much better eater now, but just as messy. :-) It's about 4 minutes long.

6 months old!

Time has flown by. Little Alexis is now 6 months old. She weighs 17 lbs and is 26 inches long. She has tried several solid foods now. She has eaten bananas, green beans, peas and pears. She also is getting better at sleeping through the night. If only we could figure out how to keep her pacifier from falling out.
Christmas is coming and Lexie likes reaching for the lights on the tree. I can't wait to see her try to open her presents.

Last night we gave Lexie cereal. This was her first solid food. I think she swallowed some. Most of it she pushed out of her mouth with her tongue.

She's about the same size as our turkey decoration.

Rolling Over!

Rolling over update

Saturday Lexie rolled over (front to back) on her own for the first time. Now every time we put her down for tummy time, she rolls over within the first few seconds. We'll get video of it on the blog soon.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch with Grandma and Grandpa H on Sunday. It was warm and the sun was very bright. Lexie did a great job of putting up with how bright the sun was and us sticking her on these big orange things. :-) She's so patient and such a good girl.
