18 mo wellness check-up
Earlier this week, Lexie had her 18 month check up. She is perfectly health and happy. She now weighs 27lb 11oz, and is 34 in long. She is getting so big so fast! Lexie is trying to copy what we say, and her vocabulary is growing quickly.

15 months old
Lexie's 15 month well-child Dr's visit went very well. Lexie is 25lb 10.4oz, which is 86%. Her length is 31in, 72%. 50% is average, so she's very health and on track for where she should be. She has had a big growth spurt! She's very healthy and active. She now is saying a handful of words including, hi, ball, up, down, no. And she's very close to saying some others. We've been working on her sign language to help communicate, and she's doing "more," "milk," "eat" very well.
She now has a tiger that she sleeps with and she likes to growl when she's around it. When she sees a dog, she makes a barking sound. We're working on her other animals sounds. We are also working on having her point to her body parts. She points to her eyes, (but sometimes wants to stick her finger IN her eye!) When I try to get her to point to her nose, she tries to stick her fingers up MY nose! We've gone over her other facial features tons, and I'm sure she knows what they are, but she's not pointing to them yet.
Lexie is always on the move. There is always something catching her eye that she wants to investigate. She is becoming more and more fun and entertaining!
